The Pacific Beach Fish Shop and IAATK's partnership began when they opened their doors! As the company grew, do did their generosity in helping the community around them. With three locations, Pacific Beach, Point Loma and Encinitas, the Fish Shops hosted toy drives and made charitable contributions each year. Then in 2019, they created the Mahi Elote Taco.
They decided for every taco they sold, they would donate a nutritious meal to our kids. Even with the restaurants closing, then only opening for to-go, they still continued the campaign. We are so grateful for the love and support.
Through 2023, there have been more than 74,385 Mahi Elote Tacos sold ...that means over 74,385 nutritious meals. So THANK YOU to everyone who purchases and enjoys a taco and to the team at The Fish Shops who support our charity and make this partnership so amazing!
