On February 8, 2019, in San Diego, Robert Bruno tragically lost his life while being a good samaritan hero. Bob always supported our charity and we wanted to do something special to continue his legacy.

 

The Be Like Bob Award and Scholarship was created to honor the youth of the Feed the Kids Food Pantry who have displayed acts of good samaritan and heroism. Youths in multiple age categories will receive a monetary scholarship that will be placed into a trust that can only be accessed after their 18th birthday and for educational purposes.
