What We Do
Via our Feed The Kids! program, It's All About the Kids® bridges the weekend food insecurity gap for children that live in impoverished neighborhoods. We provide up to 40 pounds of fresh and canned fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, beans, cereal and other non-perishable items to needy families on a weekly basis.
Feed The Kids!
Why We Do It
Throughout San Diego County, up to 99% of the children are on a meal assistance program. We want to assist those families struggling to feed their children during the "weekend food insecurity gap". Kids need food in order to grow, learn and succeed, and we've made it our mission to ensure our children have the nutrients they need.
How You Can Help
Investing in a child's future is the best way you can give back to someone in need. A one-time donation of $15 can provide dinner every night for a child for a month. If you opt to make it an ongoing monthly donation, you can provide dinner every night for as long as you continue to donate. Your generosity is truly appreciated and without people like yourself, we wouldn't be able to help as many San Diego children as we do year in and year out.
