Last December, we received an email from Vik and Shveta Dhillon. Their son Dileep was turning one and they wanted to raise money for a charity in San Diego After a wonderful phone conversation, they chose our charity! Shveta then created a fundraiser on Facebook and invited all their family and friends to contribute!
In one month, they raised over $2,000 for our Feed the Kids Program! Their generosity will provide over 3,000 meals to our kids!
Then, on January 18, 2018, the Dhillon family joined us and volunteered at the Feed the Kids weekly distribution. They even baked 1,000 cookies to share with our kids!
We are forever grateful to the Dhillon Family and friends for their support!

"On December 30, 2016, Vik and I were gifted a beautiful, healthy baby boy! Dileep has been a huge blessing, bringing so much joy and positivity to our lives. We are beyond thankful for him, so we wanted to do something chartible for his First Birthday! Instead of having a party and receiving gifts, we are requesting Family and Friends to donate to a charity that is near and dear to our hearts, "It's all about the Kids." We have chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to us. I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate his first 12 months, no donation is too big or too small!"
