Angela Brannon-Baptiste

Angela Brannon-Baptiste grew up in Arizona. After completing her Bachelors of Arts at Arizona State University, she began her successful journey in social services through the WIC [Women, Infants and Children] and Commodity Supplemental Food Program.

After translating federal regulations into local agency protocol and converting the distribution system to save tens of thousands of dollars annually, she went into the trenches. As a Nutrition Education Coordinator, Angela expanded nutrition classes and made a difference in the lives of over 5000 San Diego women and children.

After owning two of her own businesses, she then designed the interior theme decor for corporate events with budgets ranging from $5,000 to $250,000. In 1997, she formed Partying for a Purpose as a way for her to produce holiday toy drives and other special events in her spare time.

In March 2004, she and Shawn Heyl formed the It’s All About the Kids® Foundation. She realized that this was the way to combine her passion for helping children and her ability to produce spectacular events. She is currently President of the Board.

Her business, Partying for a Purpose creates and manages all the programs and the events for the It’s All About the Kids® Foundation, as well as producing private and corporate events.  Venues have included the world-famous Playboy Mansion, the Hyatt Century Plaza in Los Angeles, multi-million-dollar mansions in Southern California and all the top nightclubs in San Diego.  Angela is living her dream of enhancing the lives of children and those who are less fortunate and in need.  In 2014, Angela also began leading mission trips to Baja Mexico to help the children of several orphanages by providing clean water, food, clothes and other services. All the events that she produces all have a charity element.  In 2017, the charity's focus became to FEED THE KIDS, which returns Angela to her beginnings with working with the government. Except now, she has the knowledge and experience from serving tens of thousands of children since 1997.

In 2014, Angela married the love of her life Wayne and they have a dog named Pedro.

In April of 2020,  Angela and IAATK were featured on Mike Rowe's show Returning the Favor.  CLICK HERE for the video.   There have been over 2.4 million views of the show.
