Throughout the year, we receive bicycle donations. WE LOVE GIVING KIDS BIKES!
On Valentine's Day 2017, The It's All About the Kids Foundation had the honor of gifting new bikes, helmets and locks to the KCicletas Bike Club at the King-Chavez Primary Academy. Led by the awesome Francisco Contreras Yee, the after school bike club teaches bike safety before they ever get on a bike. They are in the classroom learning and then, they practice the obstacle course. Such an amazing program! Such bright 1st thru 5th graders!
The bike club is new, and growing and the kids were practicing and riding around the obstacle course on the club bikes...until today! They all got their own new bike! Thank you to Principal Gerry Guevara for a great program and this opportunity. Thank you to Michelle Luellen from the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition for being a part of such a great day!
