Lebron James King’s Academy Youth Basketball Camp
Two of our stellar young men, Michael and Marcus got the opportunity of a lifetime and attended the Lebron James King’s Academy Youth Basketball Camp July 24-28, 2009. The boys were so excited to go the camp that they packed and unpacked their suitcases over 10 times in the days before the camp!
They enjoyed the 4 day camp at UCSD and learned basketball fundamentals and the importance of teamwork. We are so proud of them! They were chosen based on their essays! TOP NOTCH! Thank you so much Lebron James for sponsoring Michael! Thank you to Shawn Heyl and Bob Pasulka for sponsoring Marcus ! Thank you to LaChica Sports for including us in this amazing camp!

We, (the boy’s) had a great time at the Lebron James Kings Academy. We learned a lot a new skills and techniques. We had great coaches, the food was great, and it was fun sleeping in the dorm and meeting new friends.
We received a shirt, personal items autographed with Certificates of Authenticity, report cards and Certificate of Excellence, and our Team pictures.
We not only had the opportunity to go to the Academy, thanks to you, but we both got to sit right next to Lebron in our team pictures and Mikey’s, (Michael) team won the championship for his age group and he received a plaque.
We would love the opportunity to share all this with you in person, give you a hug, and say a personal Thank You if possible, but just in case, we are sending you a copy of our Team pictures. (Mikey and Marcus are the ones sitting to the left of Lebron as you look at the picture.

Thank you so much for bringing LeBron James to San Diego. The camp was so cool and it was really fun. I learned a lot of new b-ball tricks. I met some friends that share the same interests as me and i still text them and keep in touch with them. I still have the autographed jersey LeBron signed at the camp. It is hanging on the wall in my bedroom. This camp has been the best experience of my life. I really hope you can get LeBron back next year because I would love to go to the camp again.
