What an exciting day! Seaworld invited the It’s All About the Kdis Foundation to a the final private dress rehearsal for Madagascar LIVE!, the new show ! So, we invited kids from Christie’s Place, St. Vincent De Paul’s Village and other special kids. We had the best time! Seaworld invited us to stay so we got to see polar bears, seals, whales and more! And had a blast on the rollercoasters!

Our Prom is Amazing – July 16, 2013 ! The Theme is Roaring 20′s ! In preparation of the Prom, It’s All About the Kids hosts MAN DAY and Afternoon of Total Beauty. The teens receive hair cuts and inspirational presentations by spectacular volunteers.The It’s All about the Kids Foundation provides the girls with dresses, shoes, jewelry, purses, corsages and hair/makeup! Boys receive suits, shoes, and Fedoras. All the teens attend with a guest and they arrive in limos for the memorable night. So, you don’t have the be ‘popular’ or have a date – EVERYONE ATTENDS! During the next three hours, 40 teens enjoy games, prizes, photos, food, desserts, dancing and crowning of the Court.”Prom was one of the best nights of my life,” said graduate Melissa, “I felt so special and we danced and had so much fun. I love that I got to take the photo that night, too !”The funding that we seek will pay for the costs of MAN DAY, Afternoon of Total Beauty and the Prom. These are costs that we are unable to get donated but receive a deeply discounted rate. This includes venue rental, audio visual, decor, photo paper, prizes, and other accessories.The Prom is an event of the It’s All About the Kids Foundation’s Difference for a Day Program. The Program builds self esteem, bridges the gap in trust between the teens and adults, prepares for higher education and teaches that life is limitless. Any additional fundraising will be dedicated to the monthly activities of this wonderful program throughout the year.”It is my favorite event of the year,” said volunteer and photographer Theresa Dimapilis. ”The teens are so happy, all dressed up and having the best time!”
The Prom is so popular that all the volunteer positions are already filled.

Wonderful miracles happen for the It’s All About the Kids Foundation and give us all hope in the future.
On April 27, 2013, It’s All About the Kids Foundation received a letter and several checks. The letter was from a young boy named Colin. Co-Founder Angela Brannon was in tears as she read the letter . We have removed his last name to protect his privacy. It reads:
Dear It’s All About the Kids Foundation,
My name is Colin and I had a party for my 8th birthday. Instead of my friends buying me presents, I asked that they donate money to your organization. We raised $510 at my party! Please give it to kids who are sick and may need a cure.
