The Rooftop was ON FIRE!  Hundreds of supporters packed into Stingaree for the 6th Anniversary and Angela’s Bday Party on April 24, 2010 ! Charmed Life performed with FIRE…yes, the roof was ON FIRE! And Dj Crooked had everyone dancing  inside the club while DJ Cutz tore it UP on the rooftop!  Thank you to hosts President of the Board Shawn Heyl, Associate Board Member Jerry Stevenson, CS Keys, Cybergirl Melissa Dawn Taylor and Brian Olea of the Playboy Mansion!  Thanks to Hosts Rob and Lina Mendoza who kept the night running smoothly!  Thanks to Stingaree for letting us celebrate with you! Stingaree donated $1500 to It’s All About the Kids for the event!

Fortune 421 Anniversary Party April 21, 2010

What an incredible Night! Fortune 421 celebrated their 5th Anniversary at FLUXX Nightclub on April 21, 2010. Since Fortune 421 is all about helping San Diego, along with a great fashion show and entertainment, there was a silent auction! The donations at the door and auction are being donated to Stand Up For Kids, It’s All About the Kids and Epilepsy Foundation of SD County.  Thanks to everyone who supported!

What an amazing weekend at the Grand Opening of the Alexander Salazar Fine Art Gallery in Downtown San Diego!  Both Friday and Saturday night,  March 26 and 27, 2010, hundreds of guests walked the red carpet and marveled over the fanastic art, sculptures and fashion !  Delicious appetizers were provided as well as spirits were flowing!

Fedoras and Flappers Casino Night presented by Partying for a Purpose and hosted by Sidebar, Angela Brannon, Shawn Heyl, Paul Kim “PK”, Dita Diaz, Cadie Brown, Tim Reese, and Craig and Joel of the Agency San Diego.

Side Bar became a Roaring 20’s Speak-easy! Over 225 guests enjoyed  hosted St. Petersburg Vodka cocktails and delicious pizza from Ciro’s Pizza.  Flappers and men donning fedoras then played roulette, craps and blackjack provided by Casino Concepts and KOOL Party Rentals. Gorgeous Partying for a Purpose Hosts and Hostesses were the dealers!

DJ IDeaL rocked for 4 hours with an unforgettable jam session with  Saxophonist DeLa of Slightly Stoopid. The Ladies of Pole Addiction hung upside down by their ankles and Side Bar’s Go Go Dancers shook their fringe from atop the bar. DJ Who closed the night.

The night included a raffle for prizes and an extensive silent auction. Thank you to everyone who attend the Ben Venouziou Art Show at Vin De Syrah on February 11, 2010! We Enjoyed the  live Flamenco Guitar by the Antony Garcia Trio and delicious wine and other spirits. The Art fit perfectly with Syrah’s awesome Decor!  Thank you Ben!

The First Taking Care of Business Awards Presented by Parting for a Purpose, Side Bar and the It’s All About the Kids Foundation was on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Side Bar.  What a kick-off!  Everyone was Partying for a Purpose!

These companies made it happen for the It’s All About the Kids Foundation in 2009. Each company received an engraved Star Award and also a sign painted for them by the children of Christies’s Place, Toussaint Academy and Storefront.

Over 225  guests enjoyed hosted St. Petersburg Vodka cocktails and wonderful appetizers from Marketplace Grille as well as delicious  organic cupcakes from  Cups La Jolla.  DJ IDeaL kept the place rockin’ with Jason Whitmore on Sax and Mark DeMascole on the drums.  The guests marveled at the acrobatic feats of the Ladies  of  Pole Addiction.

When Angela Brannon, Executive and Co-founder of the It’s All About the Kids Foundation began working with charities in 1997,her brother Scott would give her Certificates of Appreciation for the work that she was doing.
Each said “In Appreciation for Taking Care of Business”.   Taking Care of Business Awards are in memory of Scott Brannon who was murdered in 2006.
